There might not be much that can make you wish you were a teenager again but if anything has the power to make you feel nostalgic about those angst ridden years, then this is it

DIRTY DANCING
First dance. First love. You'll have 'the time of your life!'
'Dirty Dancing' retells the classic story of 'that summer' at Kellerman's when privileged do-gooder Frances 'Baby' Houseman falls for roguish player Johnny Castle, the resort's brooding dance teacher. It is a summer of change and of radicalisation.
Die hard fans of the film that grew up obsessing over it will not be disappointed. While most of you own the DVD there is something about reliving the film in an auditorium, seeing these new characters performing the roles that we know and love in the flesh.
Audiences who buy tickets to see it, if they can get them that is, won't be short-changed, either, on their expectations. It's exactly what it says on the label: "the classic story on stage." As a live experience of a beloved film, it hits both the jackpot and the jukebox, featuring the hit songs from the best selling movie soundtrack of all time including; 'Time Of My Life', 'Hungry Eyes', 'Hey Baby' and 'Do You Love Me?'
The routines certainly live up to their surname - in an age of 'Strictly Come Dancing', this is another string to the show's undoubted appeal.

GREASE
Rock and Roll at Rydell High- it's electrifying
A youthful mixture of hair gel, hairspray and hormones, Grease is definitely the word. Danny and Sandy, having had a summer flirtation, find themselves co-mates at Rydell High school. Danny is a member of the ultra-cool T-Birds - only interested in cars, chicks and hanging out with his mates. Meanwhile Sandy, who is a stranger to sex, booze and cigarettes, is mocked by her own would-be sophisticated girl-group. When she finally dons a figure-hugging black outfit, love flourishes. There's no doubt that the show's appeal lies in nostalgia: in particular, the unforgettable songs from the movie including 'You're The One That I Want', 'Grease Is The Word', 'Summer Nights', 'Hopelessly Devoted To You', 'Sandy and Greased Lightnin'.
The smash-hit musical 'Grease' is now in its second year at London's Piccadilly Theatre.
