This new comedy on Indian village life is the engaging story of Armaan Ali, (Boman Irani) a middle aged driver working in Mumbai, who takes a month’s leave to find a husband for his teenage daughter. When he returns to work three months later he is faced by his boss who wants to fire him. To save his job, Armaan spins a fabulous story of why he was so delayed. Fable or truth, the story reveals his humorous yet poignant depiction of the inherent corruption in Indian rural politics. Meanwhile, a charming romance blossoms between Armaan's daughter and a young, honest mechanic who saves the day.
