SET Asia is trying to lure Bollywood superstar, Aamir Khan to host the new series of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'

The show, which was previously screened on STAR Plus will be moved to Sony TV after Sony Pictures Television bought the rights to the popular gameshow. STAR had auctioned out the rights to other channels due to a fall in ratings in its previous series run.
Sony TV is now leaving no stone unturned to ensure the show gets off on the right foot. It remains to be seen if Aamir does approve of the concept to host the show and whether he will be able to do justice like his predecessors - Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
The channel has rumouredly offered Aamir Rs 75 lakh per episode to be a part of the money spinning show.
Siddharth Basu, (Producer of Licensed Company, Synergy) said, "It’s too early to talk about the next season for KBC."
When 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' returns, it will be in its fourth series on Indian television.
