The capital's only Asian Film Festival, Tongues on Fire (5 - 14 March), is celebrating the very best in Asian cinema - Bollywood and beyond - with films from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and even Afghanistan.
The press launch for the festival's 12th year is leaving no stones unturned with a bunch of film glitterati flocking to the Tongues on Fire.
With the likes of first lady of Bollywood Jaya Bachchan and her son Abhishek from India's foremost acting dynasty, renowned director and screenwriter Shyam Benegal, Hindi film star Sharmila Tagore together with her actor daughter Soha Ali Khan are among the stars of Asian cinema flocking to London for the festival.
The press launch had special guest Sangeeta Datta, speak of her directorial film 'Life Goes On'. The director's British Asian film, starring the mother and daughter duo Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan get it's UK premiere as the closing night event on the 14th March. The other actors from the film were also present at the launch.
