Will it be second time lucky for Bat For Lashes' singer Natasha Khan?

After losing out to indie rock band Klaxons in 2007, singer Natasha Khan has got another chance at a Mercury Prize win this year after her follow-up album, Two Suns, was selected as one of the 12 shortlisted albums for the £20,000 award.
Khan has revealed that she wants to scoop the Barclaycard Mercury Prize this year so she can get her own studio.
"If I did win, it would be great because I'd make my own studio and it would mean that I had more freedom creatively to do more production and work in my own time, which is my idea of heaven really," said the singer.
But the indie singer-songwriter, doesn't fancy her chances - she's up against Kasabian, La Roux and Florence And The Machine.
"I've got absolutely no idea, I don't feel that confident but I feel confident in my album," she admitted.
"I've been nominated and that's good enough for me really, but I have absolutely no idea where they're gonna go. Last time, I thought it was going to be Amy Winehouse, I was sure of it and then it was the Klaxons.
