Stylefest 2010 saw the workshop and battle event for Hip Hop, Street dance and Funk style performers kick it in great mode. Allowing dancers to learn, showcase and battle in order to improve abilities and their knowledge of dance styles, it began on Saturday 17 April 2010 with open workshops.
Battle day followed the day after on Sunday 18 April with the preliminary rounds to find the "Top 8" dancers to compete in the final round. The dance styles battles consisted of Krump, Popping, New School and House.
High on energy and mixed with great charisma Stylefest was surely not a event to have been missed. In association with East London Dance, Stylefest effortlessly united different forms of dance styles, ideology, sentiment, nostalgia, presentiment...all under one roof providing the way for dancers to express themselves.
