HARDEEP SINGH KOHLI TO HOST BRIT ASIA AWARDS

Popular TV personality, Hardeep Singh Kohli has been confirmed as the host for the first Brit Asia TV Music Awards, taking place in Birmingham in May

Hardeep was born in Glasgow and is famous for his TV comedy antics and his brightly coloured turban. Hardeep's previous TV credentials include 'Sport Relief Does The Apprentice', roving reporter of BBC One's 'One Show' and fronting the 'Hogmanay Live' show for 2009 on BBC Scotland.

This year's Brit Asia TV Music Awards will see performances by Sukshinder Shinda, Malkit Singh, Jaz Dhami, JK, Kazz Kumar and a collaboration featuring the pioneers of UK Bhangra - Alaap, Heera, Apna Sangeet, DCS, plus many more.

Brit Asia TV Music Awards take place on Sunday 2nd May at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
